5 DAYS GIRAFFE TRAILS

Day 1 Nairobi - Treetops (160km approx 2.5 hours drive)
0830 hours - Drive to the Aberdares through the rich central highlands arriving at Outspan in time for lunch. After lunch, join the transport which departs for Treetops for an afternoon game viewing from the hotel lounge. Dinner and overnight at Treetops with overnight game viewing. (B, L, D)

 Day 2 Treetops - Lake Nakuru (170km approx 3.5 hours drive)
0830 hours. Drive around the Aberdare ranges and into the rift valley to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch time to relax. 1600 hours. An afternoon game drive in this scenic park, world famous for its millions of flamingoes and many other bird species. All meals and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge/ Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 3 Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara Game Reserve (300km approx 6 hours drive)
0730 hours. Drive along the floor of the rift valley and to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. After lunch time to relax. 1600hours. Your first exciting game viewing drive in this world famous game reserve. All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge/ Sarova Mara Tented Camp. (B, L, D)

Day 4 Masai Mara Game Reserve - 7th wonder of the world
Full day spent in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Between the open plains of the Serengeti and the Masai Mara, thousands of wildebeest and zebras migrate to greener pastures as the seasons change. Predators follow the wildebeest migration closely, waiting for any opportunity to strike weak prey as they make their way into different territories. Optional activities at an extra fee include - a visit to a Masai village or balloon ride over the skies of the Mara plains. All meals and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge/ Sarova Mara Tented Camp. Day 5 Nairobi (280 km approx 5.5 hours)
0730 hours. After breakfast and check out, drive back to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon. Lunch on this day is on own arrangement. Later transfer to the airport for your departure flight home. (B)
